Everyone has the ability to overcome chronic pain and injury. Sports injuries and everyday stress can hinder a healthy, active, and happy lifestyle. Our bodies learn to accommodate injuries and eventually wear on our joints as well as our physical and mental health. The beauty is, we can heal from recent injuries and and older injuries by tapping in to our habitual pain patterns. A profound therapy pioneered by John F. Barnes called Myofascial Release has taught me to help people recover and return to a better quality life. JFB Myofascial Release training has opened the door to finding permanent relief without spending time chasing symptoms for results.
I work to rehydrate and repair the deep fascia surrounding injured muscles, ligaments and bones. With sustained and solid pressure from a length of time that can range from 3-15 minutes in each area of the hardened and necrotic injured tissues of the body, the luminous web of fascia can once again have healthy movement and flow.
Injuries take time to heal. With patience to take the pressure off pain sensitive structures, I can help get you moving again. Our bodies tissues need fluid flow. Intuitively freeing up superficial and deep scar tissue by breaking down the collagenous barriers allows for this movement to happen. There is a body and mind connection which resides in our fascial web. My goal is to help each person achieve a deeper sense of awareness and activate their own innate self-healing abilities once treatments have begun.
